Fried Chicken

Fried chicken is the favorite dish for everyone, including me. I got this recipe from an old cookbook. Just do it a try...

Ingredients:
3 medium size chicken thighs
1/2 tbsp cooking wine
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp soy sauce
2 green onions
2 slices ginger
1 small egg yolk
2 tbsp cornstarch
oil for frying

Methods:
  1. Cut the chicken into bit size pieces and mix with wine, salt, sugar, soy sauce, green onions and ginger. Marinate for 1-2 hours. Before frying, add the egg yolk and mix. Then add the cornstarch and mix well.
  2. Heat the wok, add the oil. Use medium heat to deep-fry the chicken for 4 minutes. Remove and drain. Reheat the oil. Add the fried chicken and fry until the skin is crispy. Remove and serve.
